Romans 12: 15 Rejoice with those who rejoice, weep with those who weep. Its been quite a week. On Monday Rich and I celebrated with friends: our friends post surgery pathology reports showed no cancer. On Thursday I laughed and cried on the phone with my sister for about an hour. This afternoon Richard and I attended the funeral of a woman I loved...and we hugged her husband of over 50 years...and we were reminded that we grieve, but not as those without hope. My friend, who was my prayer partner for a brief time, is in heaven. Her life was a powerful witness and testimony to the grace of God and the transforming power of the gospel. Here is the message she loved, lived and left for those who remain... Matthew 5: 14 “You are the light of the world. A city set on a hill cannot be hidden. 15 Nor do people light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on a stand, and it gives light to all in the house. 16 In the same way, let your light shine before others, so that[a] they may see your good works and give glory to your Father who is in heaven.
