No, I’ve named you friends because I’ve let you in on everything I’ve heard from the Father. We are Gods friends and should be real with Him. We are His followers and He is our Lord, but He doesnt want to lord over us! He loves for us to be REAL/ transparent and wants to be our closest friend! Making your Savior your BFF totally changes the relationship. Hes no longer just the person that will keep you from hell but give you peace / comfort you, cheer you up / be happy with you, call you out on the carpet/ confront you, And love on you unconditionally through the good, bad and ugly. He is powerful and mighty, but He is humble and meek. He will come down to meet us at our level. As a friend though shouldnt we also come up to meet Him at His? Application: If I dont ever rise to the occasion - I might never be able to see HEAVEN ON EARTH and experience all the great things God had planned for me from the moment He formed me!
