Romans 2:1-4 Therefore you are without excuse, whoever you are, - TopicsExpress

Romans 2:1-4 Therefore you are without excuse, whoever you are, when you judge someone else. For on whatever grounds you judge another, you condemn yourself, because you who judge practice the same things. Now we know that God’s judgment is in accordance with truth against those who practice such things. And do you think, whoever you are, when you judge those who practice such things and yet do them yourself, that you will escape God’s judgment? Or do you have contempt for the wealth of his kindness, forbearance, and patience, and yet do not know that God’s kindness leads you to repentance? It is so crucial that we rely upon the Holy Spirit, and that we ask for wisdom and discernment from God. We must seek Him and take great care as we encounter the lives of others. It is so easy to allow worldly circumstances to cloud our judgment, or to let evil desires or schemes of Satan deceive us and lead us to hasty and terribly inaccurate judgments upon others that we meet. We must work, some days harder than others, to turn our hearts to God and open them to be filled with His take on things that is always, “in accordance with the truth”. Our judgments of others has real power to impact our relationship with God, because it is a reflection of what is in our own hearts! He has not offered grace so that we live unrepentant lives presuming upon the cross! The design of God’s goodness is to lead you to repentance. Follow Him.
