Romans 2 9 Tribulation and anguish, upon every soul of man that doeth evil, of the Jew first, and also of the Gentile; 10 But glory, honour, and peace, to every man that worketh good, to the Jew first, and also to the Gentile: God here is explaining how he applied his will and purpose of both Salvation and Judgment upon sinful mankind throughout history. He has always raised up one group or institution as his external holy people, i.e. the Jews, Christians, Fr and the rest, he called them Gentiles. The Jews are judged and rewarded first, and then the Gentiles. In the day of Judgment(10,000 days), we see this occurring because Judgment fell upon the Churches first, and now, it has fallen upon the Gentiles. The important point to understand is, there is no difference between the words Tribulation, Captivity, Judgment. We cannot say, the 8400 days were Tribulation, but the 1600 days are Judgment. The same cup the Churches drank from is the same cup the world is now drinking. Judgment is the same as Tribulation. So today, the entire world, the Gentile nations (and the Churches, who are doubly being judged, Rev 18:6) is under Judgment, captivity, and tribulation. Re 13:10 He that leadeth into captivity shall go into captivity: he that killeth with the sword must be killed with the sword. Here is the patience and the faith of the saints. So just as the Elect in the Churches had to suffer captivity, and then later, their captivity turned back, so too must the Elect in the Gentile nations first suffer captivity, and then have their captivity turned back. God is not a respecter of persons. The same tribulation the Jews suffered, the Gentiles must also suffer. The difference is, during the 8400 days, Satan was used to carry out the tribulation. Now, the Lord Jesus Christ was given the Kingdom and Authority, to carry out this Great Tribulation, by, hiding himself, to allow natural man to worship their false idols and religions of all kinds. And this is the Judgment. To be forsaken by God. Yet God has a plan for these Jacobs. He will turn back their captivity and gather them in the end. This is why the latter rain occurs after these 1600 days, and not in 1994. Because the gentile nations at that time did NOT suffer Judgment, or Captivity or Tribulation. God is not a respecter of persons. Re 7:14 And I said unto him, Sir, thou knowest. And he said to me, These are they which came out of great tribulation, and have washed their robes, and made them white in the blood of the Lamb. So this period of Great Tribulation is not speaking of the 8400 days, which the Great Multitude did not suffer, but the 1600 days when the Gentile nations are being judged. Today, sadly, the most severe Judgment has fallen upon those who were called Jews, Christians, FR Believers because they ate and drank in his presence(Luke 13:26). And so today, it is not surprising these CHRISTIANS who came out of the Churches, who were used of God in a great way, are now crying, Lord Lord. These Israelites failed the test in this Spiritual wilderness, and God writes of them in Heb 10:38, Now the just shall live by faith: but if any man draw back, my soul shall have no pleasure in him. And the Churches today are still under Judgment. There is no Holy Spirit there. In Rev 9:18, we read the one third are being killed by these plagues. This double judgment is the second death. The lake of fire, which is not a literal place, but a spiritual condition of being destroyed with no possibility of restoration. This is why God warned us to pray our flight will not be in winter or the sabbath(The day of the Lord). Yet we read in Rev 9:20 20 And the rest of the men which were not killed by these plagues yet repented not of the works of their hands, that they should not worship devils, and idols of gold, and silver, and brass, and stone, and of wood: which neither can see, nor hear, nor walk: 21 Neither repented they of their murders, nor of their sorceries, nor of their fornication, nor of their thefts. The 666 are being judged but they are not killed, or suffer the second death. Their final judgment comes later. Rev 19:19 And I saw the beast, and the kings of the earth, and their armies, gathered together to make war against him that sat on the horse, and against his army. 20 And the beast was taken, and with him the false prophet that wrought miracles before him, with which he deceived them that had received the mark of the beast, and them that worshipped his image. These both were cast alive into a lake of fire burning with brimstone. Here, we read of this second beast, with the false prophet of all the idols and religions of the world, will be cast into the lake of fire. The second death. The last enemy which is death will be destroyed when the resurrection of the dead occurs. That is when this battle of Armegeddon which is on-going right now is finished.
