Romans 4:16-19 16 Therefore it is of faith that it might be according to grace, so that the promise might be sure to all the seed, not only to those who are of the law, but also to those who are of the faith of Abraham, who is the father of us all 17 (as it is written, “I have made you a father of many nations”) in the presence of Him whom he believed—God, who gives life to the dead and calls those things which do not exist as though they did; 18 who, contrary to hope, in hope believed, so that he became the father of many nations, according to what was spoken, “So shall your descendants be.” 19 And not being weak in faith, he did not consider his own body, already dead (since he was about a hundred years old), and the deadness of Sarah’s womb. Then we will see our God bring it to pass. Our restoration may not yet be physically manifest but we are certain now that it will appear. We confidently think, act and speak from the position that God has granted it already - even though we cannot see it yet with our natural eye. The scripture tells us God framed the worlds with His words and we are created in His image (Heb 11:2-4 Gen 1:27). Since we are created in His image, He expects us to be like Him in what we say, framing our own world around us with our words. Our saying will reshape our doing. God’s Word is His will and you are brought into alignment with His will when you speak His Word. There are no shortcuts. However, there are incentives, promises and rewards to those who do not grow weary in doing good. Do not be discouraged by what you don’t see.
