Romans 8:1-3 New King James Version (NKJV) Free from Indwelling Sin 8 There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus,[a] who do not walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit. 2 For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has made me free from the law of sin and death. 3 For what the law could not do in that it was weak through the flesh, God did by sending His own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, on account of sin: He condemned sin in the flesh, Not only our sins are forgiven once for all but our sin in the flesh/ sinful nature was crucified and condemned by God in the body of Jesus at the cross. Therefore, there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ. As long as we are still in our earthly bodies we will still feel the sinful nature arising within us, but thank God for He has punished and condemned it at the cross and it has no power over us anymore to condemn and to separate us with our relationship with Jesus and our heavenly Father and to rob us from receiving the blessings and favors that God has prepared for us. Abba Father, Thank You for sending our Lord Jesus on earth to die for our sins and most especially to die as us. Thank You for there is now no condemnation for us who are in Christ Jesus. Thank You for loving us unconditionally!
