Romans 8:18-19 18 For I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us. 19 For the earnest expectation of the creation eagerly waits for the revealing of the sons of God. NKJV Strong meat: He (or she) who has ears let him hear what the Spirit is saying to the church. There is a secret that the enemy does not want you to know, for if you do and respond to God with it, the enemy will be decimated from distracting you from destroying his dark works. Have you heard it said that we are living too far below our calling? Well it’s true. We seem to be so wrapped up in the “sufferings of this present time”, that we cannot see the truth of the matter. All of creation is waiting with bated breath, straining on tip toes, in earnest anticipation (idioms used to reflect the original Greek) for the manifestation or revealing of the sons of God. Don’t be distracted by the gender here it means male and female. What is to be revealed? Two things: 1) The glory that is in us. We have been dreaming for far too long. The glory of God that Christians dream of receiving in eternity is already here now on the earth. Where? In us!!! You see nothing can be revealed that does not exist already. It already exists in your spirit-man. Only your soul hampers the glory being revealed in you. Holiness kills soulishness. What’s that you ask? It is being so filled with Jesus that the enemy has no hold of anything in your soul anymore. Is it possible? Yes, by surrendering your willfulness and dying daily and allowing the Holy Spirit to flood out of your spirit-man and drown your soul in glory. Your sanctification will happen and your sonship will rise and… 2) The revealing of the sons of God will begin to take place to this world. Have hope today. The secret of the Lord is with those who fear Him (Ps 25:14). ALL THAT GOD IS AND HAS, IS IN YOU NOW. If you have been born again this vast treasure has been sealed in your spirit-man until the day of redemption (Eph and Col). It can only be accessed through the Spirit of course and that can only happen when you’re dead, either to self (or soulishness) or just dead. So you see it is possible… The Glory of God can be revealed that is already in us and once it is, by faith, the sons of God will be revealed to all creation. Thanks for reading this and “may the eyes of your understanding be enlightened that you may know the hope of His calling, what are the riches of the glory of His inheritance IN the saints” (Eph 1:18) He who has the ears to hear can also overcome (Rev 2 and 3 check the rewards for the overcomer). 1 John 5:4-5 And this is the victory that has overcome the world — our faith. 5 Who is he who overcomes the world, but he who believes that Jesus is the Son of God?
