Romans 8:38-39 (KJV) For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come; Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord. 1 John 4:4 Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is He that is in you, than he that is in the world. Assurance that God is Greater and more powerful than anything in the world. Not even death will separate us from the love of God because GOD IN US has already eternally overcome death. These are not mere words to me. They are the true promises from Gods Word and I believe. I have never lost a spouse to death. But I have lost my father, my mother, all my siblings and all my children and the pain is not even measurable. He does not promise there will be no pain but He does promise He will walk through that valley with us. Pain is part of this world but we can accept the Peace He freely gives. Remember John 11:35: Jesus wept. Please include the families of those who have lost teenagers this past weeks in our surrounding area. They will need the prayers of everyone and support to help them learn to embrace life again without their child: The families from Charles Henderson School and Wicksburg School and the family in Geneva of Logan Seay. I continue to pray for my friends who are fighting cancer and other illnesses as well as the pain of death of their loved ones. Prayers also for friends with personal needs and prayer requests and our Military and country.
