Does not the potter have the right to make out of the same lump of clay some pottery for special purposes and some for common use?22 What if God, although choosing to show his wrath and make his power known, bore with great patience the objects of his wrath—prepared for destruction?) notice these are 3 questions and an example given. (2 tomothy 2:6 It is the hard-working farmer who ought to have the first share of the crops.) (James 2:17 if faith has no works its dead) You cannot please God without faith. ( 2 timothy 2:11-13) The saying is trustworthy, for:If we have died with him, we will alsolive with him;12 if we endure, we will also reign with him;if we deny him, he also will deny us;13 if we are faithless, he remains faithful—) (2 timothy 2:20-21) 20 Now in a great house there are not only vessels of gold and silver but also of wood and clay, some for honorable use, some for dishonorable. 21 Therefore, if anyone cleanses himself from what is dishonorable, he will be a vessel for honorable use, set apart as holy, useful to the master of the house, ready for every good work. I do not think we have 100% free will because if we did I would grow wings and be flying by now. I cannot controll another person or bring back a single minute.I cannot lift 500lbs. The freedom of choices I have are limited, simple choices that are important and impactful. This is very helpful for fleeing temptation and understanding my playing feild. I believe my choices are Huge! My choice to sin or not. Help or not. Love or not. Pray or not. Worship God or myself and creation. Read the bible or books of false teachers. Work hard or half hearted. Provide for my wife or not. Encourage or not. Serve or not. Have faith or not. Believe in the work of jesus or not. Be humble or not. Listen or be defensive. Rebuke or ignor. Be teachable or persecute. Etc etc. The simple fact is my choices make a difference in the quality of life in other people. I canot manipulate God. I can ask God. I cannot force God to save myself or others I can repent. I can pray. I can be thankful that he choose me, that he loves me. I can do what he asks of me. I can patiently endue the evil of others, gently teaching them, pointing them in the direction of repentance and a GOD who is crazy about love and grace, But also furious about sin.(2 timothy 2:23-) Predestination is not a hope killer, but rather evidence of the greatest Father there ever was.
