Rome Day 4- Today we went to the Vatican City. I cant explain how amazing it was to experience this. We saw the original statue of Augustus and Caesar which I was so excited about! We got to see the original bath that Nero used in his house. But the most mind blowing of all was the works of Raphael and Michelangelo. To actually see these amazing artworks was phenomenal. I will never forget walking through the Sistine Chapel and seeing Michelangelos amazing work sprawled across the ceiling. I literally think I stood there for 5 minutes with my neck back looking at the roof , unfortunately we werent allowed to take photos in the Sistine Chapel. We then saw St Peters Basilica. This is one of the most beautiful buildings I have ever seen. Tried my first Italian gelato. It is life changing!
