Roscoe Prentice Presents “Hot Head Fred” Fred is always on edge! He will go off on any and everybody. Everybody’s scared to say anything to him because he may go off on them. I saw him walking to his car one afternoon after getting off work. I yelled to him, “Hey Fred! Have a good night…I’ll see you tomorrow!” Fred didn’t even look up, as he just shot me the middle finger, and kept right on walking. The next day, I saw ole Fred standing at the vending machine. He was kicking and cursing at the machine because it didn’t have what he wanted in it. I say, “Fred…I spoke to you yesterday afternoon, and I could have sworn you shot me the middle finger? I just wanted to know if I was correct.” He say, “Yes…I did! If you didn’t see it good enough on yesterday…hear it is again!” I say, “Fred…what seems to be the problem? I was just saying good night. I thought you and I were cool.” Fred turned towards me, “I ain’t cool with nobody…especially you!” I say, “Why?” He says, “stop talking to me!” I say, “No! Not until you tell me why!” Fred started grinding his teeth and biting his lips. I say, “I’m just trying to be nice here…no need for any confrontation!” He say, “I told yo Short, No Neck A$$ to leave me alone…now uma have to hurt you!” That did it! Nobody calls me the ‘S’ word! I took me a couple of steps back, grabbed me a chair and stood up in it and said, “Look here man! Just because your name is Fred and you look like Freddy Krueger…doesn’t mean I’m suppose to be scared of yo A$$! Now just step yo unhappy A$$ back over there to that machine…cuz that’s the only thing you beating up in here. Talkin bout…you use to be a professional wrestler! Yeah right! With those bad A$$ feet? That’s why you mad all the time! Dam feet be hurting! And how you gone get mad at the snack machine for not having your favorite snack! Since when did that happen? Hell I thought everything in it was your favorite snack! And how bout changing that dam shirt every once in a while, and give them buttons a well needed break! Walking yo A$$ around here thinking everybody scared of you…it’s not you they scared of fool! It’s them damn buttons people are scared of…thinking one gone come popping off on dey A$$. So now what Mr Freddy...you still wanna hurt me? Bring it on BIG BOY… Roscoe’s got plenty!
