Rose Blackthorn is my Woman In Horror today! Besides the fact she has a kick-ass name for a horror author, Rose writes great horror tales! Rose loves not only horror but fantasy/sci-fi as well. At the moment, she is writing short stories in horror and dark fantasy. However, she has plans to do some novels as well. Alrighty! Rose is proud of her horror leanings and is surprised when people ask her questions about it. Needless to say, she believes women can write scary every bit as well as the men. Perhaps better. Rose loves the character in Stephen Kings Misery, Annie Wilkes. Of course, we all know Annie as the nurse from Hell. She loved the portrayal that Kathy Bates did in the movie. No arguments from me.
