Rosie MacLennan leads Canadian trampoline and tumbling team at Portugal World Cup Olympic champion Rosie MacLennan leads a 15-member Canadian team into competition today in Loulé, Portugal at her first international individual trampoline meet since winning gold last summer at the London Games. MacLennan competed in July at the World Games in Cali, Colombia, but only in the synchro event, where she placed fifth with partner Samantha Sendel. At the Loulé World Cup, one of just three this year on the international calendar, Rosie is joined by Sendel and Samantha Smith in women’s trampoline while the men’s squad features 2008 Olympic silver medallist Jason Burnett Burnett, brothers Keegan and Kyle Soehn and Sebastien St-Germain. Members of the double mini trampoline team are: Denis Vachon, Jon Schwaiger, Keegan Soehn and Dennis Oppenlander on the men’s side and Corissa Boychuk, Lexi Geisbrecht, and Jordyn Miller-Burko on the women’s squad. Also competing in men’s tumbling are Schwaiger, Vincent Lavoie and David Findlay.
