Ross France, Ross France - Lawyers Manuku Principal – LLB Victoria University Ross France I started out in a small office in Otahuhu, as a Criminal Lawyer who did conveyancing in the afternoon. In 1989 I sold my practice to a trust that eventually became the Union Law Centre and managed the Trust for five years. This got me involved in Employment Law, which is now one of my specialist areas. I have represented individuals, Unions, and small to medium sized employers in a wide variety of employment disputes and Court hearings. Since the mid 1990′s I have also practised Family Law and am now a Senior Family Court Lawyer. I represent individuals, couples, and children on a wide variety of matters in the Family Court. Before I was a lawyer I was a musician and community worker. I was instrumental in establishing the Ponsonby Labour cooperative and the work trusts and cooperative network throughout New Zealand. I played in lots of bands. The best were: Storm, Herbs, and Diatribe. I am a trustee of Te Whare Ruruhau o Meri, a Maori social services provider operating from Manukau. I am back working with the Papatoetoe Panthers Rugby League Club and we are planning to establish a community gym and wet weather training facility. I am a father of five and have one mokopuna.
