Rosès future is a lot more sweet now that Guardians of Rescue has stepped in. Cases like Rosès are a dime a dozen. Because laws are so lenient, Rosè has spent her life on a chain with zero law enforcement intervention. She braved all seasons with very little shelter from the elements. And because there was no fence to protect her, she has been bred over and over again by the neighborhood dogs just walking in and impregnating her. How many times you ask? Rosè has had 8 litters in her 3 years of life. But now her owner grew bored of having a lawn ornament sitting on his property. So instead of seeking help, he offered Rosè to the many breeders in his crime stricken area. Of course many offered money. Thats when we caught wind of it. It took days of negotiations to convince him to relinquish ownership to our organization but thankfully Rosè is sleeping safely inside instead of what she was destined for. Another night with nothing to look forward to. Cold temperatures and another birth with no help. This will be Rosès final litter. Thats the promise we made to her. Rosè is in a temporary foster and needs something more solid where she can birth her babies safely and raise them like the good mother we know she must be.
