Round 11 Re cap Clone 11: Evan Szotko held off Joey Moody in heat race number one to take the win. The two ran the entire race bumper-to-bumper until the checkered flag flew. Behind them was a very similar race between Liorah Peoples and Parker Bareman. Peoples would finish third. Bareman went on to win the day’s second heat race, with Szotko finishing second. The start of the feature race ensued in a wreck in the chicane, causing the race to be restarted. When the race got going, it was Moody taking the checkered flag to win the feature. Feature Results: Joey Moody, Evan Szotko, Parker Bareman, Liorah Peoples World Formula: Greg Cloon started the day off in World Formula by picking up the win over second-place Mason Bareman. In the second heat, Bareman would record his first win in the World Formula class. Cloon finished second with Don Hamilton in third. Cloon would find himself back out in front of the field in the feature race, taking the checkered flag with Bareman in second once again. The battle of the day once again feature Hamilton and Rich Lamos. Running side-by-side around the track over the final laps, they were able to stay ahead of Kirt Langbehn who picked up the pace consistently in each race. Feature Results: Greg Cloon, Mason Bareman, Rich Lamos, Don Hamilon, Kirt Langbehn JR2: Picking up where he left of one week ago, Billy Cloon took the victory in the first heat race for the JR 2 class. Matt Hamm would find himself taking the checkered flag over Cloon in the second heat race. Cloon would take command of the feature race early and never looked back en route to the win. Behind Cloon, Anna Caputo and Hamm battled it out for the second position with Caputo getting the edge. Feature Results: Billy Cloon, Anna Caputo, Matt Hamm, Cheyenne Townsend, Ricky Nelson. Super Clone 380/Formula Clone/ Super Clone 330: Jeff Peoples took command of the first two heat races in the Super Clone 380 class, taking the checkered flag in both. However, the feature was a different story. Peoples would finish fourth, while Allyn Cribley, who finished third and second in the first two heat races respectively, took the checkered flag in the feature. In Formula Clone, it was Joe Hettler showing the way in each of the three races. Hettler was the first one to take the checkered flag in each of the three races, giving him a 30-point sweep. Ben Beckwith finished second in each of the races. Speaking of sweeps, Josh Cline swept the day in the Super Clone 330 class. Cline battled Liz Caputo for the win in each of the races, edging her out in each of the three. Super Clone 380 results: Allyn Cribley, Al Osborn, Connor Anderson, Jeff Peoples Formula Clone results: Joe Hettler, Ben Beckwith, Dennis Vincent Super Clone 330 results: Josh Cline, Liz Caputo Clone 9: Tony Caputo had a perfect day Saturday afternoon. By winning each of the three races, Caputo pulled off the 30-point sweep over C.J Dekok in second. Animal 350: After a week off, the Animal 350 class was back on Saturday. Brian Wiggins took the win in each of the three races over Scott Presley to make a clean sweep of the day’s races.
