Round 3 of Stadium Drift Australia was at #Archefield on Saturday. After travelling up to Qld from Canberra on Friday, we went to a friends house to relax. you would think after driving 1250kms that day, the last thing you would want to do was do more driving! not the case... I ended up playing iracing until 1:30am.. On Saturday we travelled to the track and set up..I am not sure why but I seem to have a mental block at archy as again i found myself feeling a little out of sorts and actually spun twice in my heats..this landed me in the B-main.. I was paired up with Mat Huxley. after the first battle it was decided it was to close to call so we went once more time. I pushed really hard as the photos will attest..I was lucky enough to take the win. The B-main final was against Sam Tabbouch who was really getting the hang of the track. We both pushed super hard and Sam went through.. He deserved the win so hats off to him. That left me with 9th position, again confirming that Archy is my Bogey track. I left me with time to sit back and watch the Finals. Everyone was pushing hard, however the the standout was Levi Clark. Not to take anything away from Mick who drive flawless( I guess we are getting used to him always being there). After we packed up we travelled back to a friends place in Cararra. Bianca and I were parked out the front of his house when suddenly *CRASH*!! I jumped out of the van and found a DRUNK DRIVER getting out of his car. He had drove straight into the back of the trailer.. I was shocked that he seemed more worried about the state of his car rather than the fact that he had just smashed into a parked car trailer. The driver started abusing me and implying it was my fault (after all, I was sober and parked,haha). He than became aggressive, It was at tat point that I started to point out some harsh facts!! NOTE: The rear quarter of the 13 was from Archy not the Drunk driver!!! I have always said that the things you often remember the most is the Road trip itself. So back in Canberra now -1 outside.. 2450kms travelled, 29hrs driving time. We will be doing it all again in two weeks..
