Route 179 Update: Standoff continues into the dark - Bangor Hydro has cut off power to about 400-customers in order to cut power to the camper trailer a man and a woman are in. The two have threatened to blow up the camper according to acting police chief Harold Page. The incident began approximately 8:30 AM when police were called to the scene in an apparent dispute over a tractor. The property owner said the camper and the two people had been on his property for a couple of years but have failed to pay rent. Police have been called to the property several times in the past few weeks, and a protection from abuse order was issued against the male in the camper earlier this week.
