Rs. 12 Cr being spent on Water Supply Scheme in Bandipora BANDIPORA, JULY 04: An amount of Rs. 3.41 crore is being incurred on various water supply schemes taken up under PHE Sector in Bandipora division during current financial year. Moreover, under National Rural Drinking Water Programme (NRDWP), Rs. 9 crore are also being expended by virtue of which the populace of adjoining villages would be provided drinking water facility. This was stated during a review meeting of concerned engineers chaired by District Development Commissioner, Bandipora, Mr. M.Y. Zargar at Bandipora today. It was also given out that Rs. 8.63 crore were utilized on 47 water supply schemes in the division during the last fiscal and against all the 47 schemes, 5 schemes were executed, with the result a huge population of the area was benefited.
