Rs. 5 meals scheme of GHMC failed Hyderabad , October 16: GHMC had announced that it will setup 50 centers on 2nd October wherein meals would be supplied at Rs. 5. Initially GHMC setup 10 such centers. It had announced that on the successful functioning of these centers, more centers would be setup. Places were also identified for setting up food centers but it is very regrettable to note that the Municipal officials are not taking any interest in starting more food centers. It is understood GHMC has contacted an NGO to seek its cooperation for the implantation this scheme.
