Rumor has it that Steve Barta finished his added orchestration to the original Suite for Flute and Jazz Piano no. 1 by the legendary composer of the famous work from the mid-1970s, Claude Bolling. I was able to ask Mr. Bolling to see the music and listen to the demos--and he LOVES it! Huge plus is that the great flutist, Hubert Laws, would like to perform it with me with orchestras, so just to say, it is now available with Claude Bollings personal approval.
