Run Delhi Run...................Join Equa-thon To create awareness about disability, highlight discriminatory attitudes and put disability at the centre of development, we are organising an epic event - Equa-thon - the inclusive run in New Delhi on 9th February, 2014 at 7am at Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium, New Delhi. Equa-thon will witness participation of about 2,000 runners including persons with disabilities of different nature and active citizens. The runners will comprise of people from the communities, corporate professionals, youth, NGO workers, volunteers, media professionals, friends and family members of persons with disabilities and disabled people themselves. The event will add value and spirit to the UN Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities (UNCRPD) which India has signed and ratified which calls for inclusion and equality.
