Rung my daughters mobile to chat with her today. Mobile to mobile can be difficult for me to hear on a normal day. My hearing aids improved technology meant I could hear Aimees Lee and he was sitting a metre away from her and it was on speaker phone which tends to distort. My daughter straight away said mum you wouldnt have been able to do that normally. Im so impressed Im having the best time with improved hearing this year. Another thing that happened frequently with my other hearing aid on the mobile was whistling , feedback and cutting in and out depending on if I moved the mobile around on my hearing aid - not so with this new hearing aid the sound is constant, steady with no feedback. Its advanced technology also means no whistling. Whistling can happen because a hearing aid is very powerful it doesnt always mean a earmould isnt fitting even though it usually is the culprit. I had surgery earlier this year and have a cochlear implant in my other ear so the combination works wonders. Im happy as a pig in mud.
