Runner Kirsty on Runnerstalk posted a very interesting observation: Because she pre-entered she expected the race organisers to complete her tear off strip! Really? Kirsty, maybe next time you must give them your phone number and they will give you a wake-up call, send the club limo around to pick you up, deliver you to your own luxury gazebo after rolling out the red carpet, give you a pina colada and a runner to run the race for you. All supplied and paid for (with the money runners paid for their entries) by the greedy organisers of the race. On second thoughts, maybe they wont as you will only complain that the limos aircon was set too cold, the champagne had not enough bubbles in it, your fur rug was not heated warm enough, that the driver was not friendly to you, the red carpet was not cleaned properly, the gazebo not luxurious enough to your high standards, the pina colada too weak, the runner too slow. I can give you only one word of advice : If you find a well-organised race please do not buy an entry into it, you will only spoil it for the race organisers.
