Running across 4 lanes of fast traffic and flat out up and down the slip road that leads onto the A1, to try and catch a small pregnant dog... Cars, passing at speed, and no1 stopped...finally I decide to dive and grab the dog. I managed to hook hold of a leg as it tried to bite me, I carried the dog to safety on the verge, to be met by its owner 10 mins later who walks over, takes the dog from me, and walks off with a small cheers muttered under his breath...
