Running from God. Running from God is like trying to play a scratched record, its always going to repeat itself. Jonah tried to run from God, because God demanded mercy for sinners, and Jonah demanded justice. He ended up in a whale of a problem. For we desire mercy from God, but often push for judgment upon others. That only puts us in the center of our own pride, and the whale we look at in the mirror is not as great as we think it is. For God can take that whale and make it swallow us up, until we are thrown up unto dry land. That dry land is understanding apart from God even if He doesnt give you exactly what you want your still going to thirst for God. God knows what everyone needs, and often what we think we need and other people deserve is way out of line with Gods blessing.The moral of any story in this world is you cant run from God. So if He asks something of you do it, if He gives you something receive it, and if He speaks something in your ear hear it. Than instead of running from God to vanity, we will run to God with open arms.
