Rushed home to my pack....seems a couple stray pit/akita looking dogs are terrorizing the neighborhood. One lunged at me last night while out with my mutts. Banjo thinks hes one tough guy so he is likely to be the one to get hurt. He was on a leash. It was very scary! Its times like that you wish you had a 9mm and a baseball bat. Im always one to give ALL dogs the benefit of the doubt. But if youve ever seen a large dog turn on a smaller defenseless animal you always have a bit of fear in you. I have seen it and I do. Again, I stress that I love dogs. An aggressive dog needs to be dealt with immediately. If they have attacked once they WILL do it again. People, control your dogs! Keep them at home. If your dog is wandering, fence it so it can not do harm to anyone or anything, EVER...
