Russell Will Die tomorrow August 15, 10:00 am if a foster or adopter is not found. Description from Animal Control Russell is a 2 year old, unaltered male, Pit mix that came to us as a stray. He has a ton of puppy left in him! Whoever owned him clearly liked to wrestle and play rough. When you call for Russell he will run and basically just throw himself on to you. Russell will quickly calm down as long as you are scratching his hiney! He likes to back it up and will step back in to you for as much butt rubbing as you will provide! Russell is very likely house broken as every time he gets out of his kennel he immediately pees and poops. We feel extremely bad for this boy and hate to see him put down in our facility. Unfortunately; we just don’t have luck with Pits and Russell is not handling the stress of the kennel well. We need immediate confirmation in order to guarantee his safety! If you are able to help Russell, please let me know TODAY!! This does not mean that he needs to be picked up today, I just need confirmation that he has a place to go! He is scheduled for euthanasia tomorrow, Friday August 15th at 10:00 a.m… Please help save Russell!!! He is at Johnson County Animal Control in Franklin, Indiana and also is available for adoption.
