Russia has now released its version of the downing of the MH17. It should be considered with the same caution that one should use for reports by all involved parties. I am certainly no expert in aerial combat but there is one thing which I find increasingly suspicious By all accounts, the United States has extraordinary surveillance capacity. Long-range radar, spy satellites, God knows what else. Eastern Ukraine is presumably a zone of particular interest to them. They certainly have assets in Kiev. WHY then are the Americans not releasing any hard data? Do they know something that they are not telling us? Do they prefer to keep it obscure, so as to continue to fling around wild accusations?
