Russia officially acknowledge Poroshenko to be President of Ukraine The website of the Russian President published an official statement about a phone call between Petro Poroshenko and Vladimir Putin. In it the Russian government officially called Poroshenko President of Ukraine for the first time. As is known, Poroshenkos peace plan to regulate the conflict in the East of Ukraine presumes the acknowledgement of the results of the presidential elections by the Russian Federation, the halt of fire on part of the terrorists and the creation of an escape corridor for the peaceful population, which does not participate in the conflict. Earlier it has been reported that Poroshenko and Putin discussed the conflict in the East of Ukraine, as well as its possible solutions, over the phone. In the conversation the President of Ukraine called the situation when tanks have come to the territory of our state through the Ukrainian-Russian national border unacceptable. Pravda
