Ruth, one of our devoted Facebook followers, reached out to us recently about a beautiful dog with puppies who they have been treating for tick fever. She and her husband, Gary, operate a rescue for special-needs pups, but were full and desperate for help for Goose and her seven babies. Im happy to say we were able to help out and even lined up a foster family for this sweet girl and babies. Ruth and Gary drove from West Texas - six and a half hours - and brought them here safe and sound. I was leading a tour at the time and invited them along with my group of Vienna visitors - who were so happy to kiss new-born pups. Ruth and Gary are on their way back to Texas - so nice meeting you and thanks for all that you do for homeless and special-needs animals!
