Ryan Chalmers is my hero today and for the last three months. Just before I left on my trip, I heard that Ryan was already on the road pushing his racing chair from Los Angeles to New York, over 3,000 miles. He began in early April, completing nearly the distance of nearly 2 marathons a day, everyday. He finished his ride 70 days later. He is a member of the Team USA, so this kind of training is normal for him. Learn more about his dreams and passions, at his website: PushAcrossAmerica.org The other night I slept outside in the back yard with my niece and nephew under a canopy of stars and one outrageously bright moon that floated just above tree tops from the South to the West through out the night. Like a ship it traveled, as my niece said. The following day, a friend sent me this video of the moon traveling across the sky in New Zealand. There is no trick photography. He parked his camera two miles away from the look out point, as he said and just let the images roll on. If you have a moment, I think that it would make you marvel. player.vimeo/video/58385453?autoplay=1 Even though I am in a temporary recovery stage of my 900 Mile End Polio Now Bike Tour, I am still on the journey of raising awareness and funds for the End Polio Now Rotary International campaign to eradicate polio from the planet.
