Ryan says it well. Rights cross ethnic boundaries, orientation boundaries, religious boundaries, racial boundaries. In fact, the only thing you need to have in order to have those protected rights is to be a US Citizen. Thats why this page exists, and why we accept folks like we do. And he is further correct in that it isnt JUST folks in the Democrat party who want to restrict gun rights, they exist in the Republican party as well. Just as the Republican party seems to have more 2A supporters than the Democrat party, that doesnt mean all Democrats want to restrict 2A rights. That is why we are apolitical. Both sides of the argument exist in both parties. Keep that in mind when it comes to the elections next month (and we will never, ever tell you who to vote for, but we WILL point out and make fun of jackass politicians). This is so far from the truth, Brad Pitt is far from being a conservative politically, supporting the right to bare arms is universal crossing all political leanings. One of the reasons I admire this site is because you all understand that. I cant stand reading comments from people on the right that automatically conclude that a person wanting to restrict gun rights is a democrat or liberal.
