Rydw i Teresa !! In Abertaf school we had Mr Mathius who taught us Welsh - or at least tried to - he was getting on a bit and a gentle old man but such a shame he couldnt control the class at all ! - i felt quite sorry for him :/ - one day he was wandering around trying to supervise the lesson and he came to my desk ( I must have been the only one bothering to try as i was a good girl in school ! ) well anyway I had my welsh school book open and it had cartoon drawings of people and then a welsh phrase - the drawings were obviously there to prompt you to guess what they were saying to each other ( a bit like Janet and John but in welsh ! ) well mine had all crude drawings - not done by me of course but previous pupils who had drawn added appendages like big dicks and their own captions ( in english and quite rude ) well Mr Mathius dragged me in front of the class in a rage , waving the book around and made me stand with my face to the wall for the rest of the lesson - I could hear my friends guffawing and I am so glad my face was to the wall as I was almost in hysterics laughing - makes me want to announce --- Rydw i Teresa !! .....but i cant take the credit as I wasnt the one to draw the rude cartoons ! so Mr mathius you got that wrong mate !!
