#SA #ADELAIDE #SEVEREWEATHER WARNING for DAMAGING bit.ly/ThiVj8 WINDS For people in the Adelaide Metropolitan, Mount Lofty Ranges, Lower Eyre Peninsula, Yorke Peninsula, Kangaroo Island, Mid North, Upper South East, Lower South East and parts of the West Coast, Eastern Eyre Peninsula and Murraylands districts. Issued at 11:23 am Thursday, 4 July 2013. A vigorous cold front located near the western end of Kangaroo Island at 11 am will move northeastwards across the south of the State during this afternoon and evening. Squally showers will increase with the front, with isolated thunderstorms in coastal districts south of about Adelaide. Squally northwest to westerly winds with damaging wind gusts in excess of 90 km/h are forecast to extend throughout the warning area this afternoon and are most likely to occur with showers and thunderstorms and also on and east of the Mount Lofty Ranges. Locations which may be affected include Adelaide, Port Lincoln, Mount Gambier, Murray Bridge, Kingscote and Naracoorte.
