SABBATH CLOSING DEVOTION:You are the fourth yet you are the seventh;You are the reminder yet the most forgotten;You are the REST yet people make you restless with their never-ending worldly chores;You are special,peculiar,sanctified yet no different as a day,no wonder people presume wrongly about you!Your name is SABBATH!The Fourth of the Holy law,for you uphold and comfirm,authenticate and validate the LAW GIVER himself!Yes !you uphold the other three laws that point to YHWEH!You then link the Lawgiver to his beloved creatures through the other six(6)laws of love for man!You are therefore the bridge,the link,the sign ,the symbol,the seal and the authenticator!Authenticating the true and exposing the false!You are SHABBAT!The day chosen and seperated by the LORD himself at creation!Yes,you are the SEVENTH because in you, GOD found the precious time to REST.Resting in the work for man!What love that is demonstrated through you!You the OLD mark of ownership by our YAHUAH!By our JEHOVAH!Nations,people and enemies have tried to erase you,desecrate you,abominate you,blasphem you,break you,change you......But here you are---STILL SHINNING!Ever GLORIOUS!You shall remain even in the world to come when your enemies have long been footstools and dust!For this reason,we thank the one who created you!You being the sign,we bless God!You being the day through which we are sealed,we find meaning of our lives!We find true identity and perfect rest!Through you,we come closer to our MAKER!Our LORD,we thank you for the Sabbath we had.We came as sinners yet went to our homes sactified through the blood of your Son ,our only saviour!Our redeemer!Continue,to give us strength and power to overcome doubt,sin,negligence,complacency and complaisancy!To continue to observe your most forgotten law--THE FOURTH COMMANDMENT!Bless all who keep it as you promised in Isaiah 57 and 56,Exodus 20:8-11,Ezekiel 20:20!Forgive those that do not keep it!Bring it to their knowledge that they may honour you also!This,according to your unfailing love and compassion!As we enter another week,lead us through it as we anticipate another sabbath!like Babies,we will trust you and honour you by observing your HOLY DAY!AMEN!
