SAD NEWS: 62 BHS Grad - husband of our Lynn EISEL Edward W. Layaou Jr., 69, of Nutley, N.J., passed away on Monday, March 24, 2014. Friends will be received at the S.W. Brown & Son Funeral Home, 267 Centre St., Nutley, (swbrownandson), on Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. A service will be conducted at the funeral home on Friday at 11 a.m., followed by the committal service at East Ridgelawn Crematory Chapel, Clifton, N.J. Born in Newark, N.J., Mr. Layaou lived in Belleville, N.J. before moving to Nutley 20 years ago. He was a graduate of Fairleigh Dickinson University. Mr. Layaou was employed as a statistical program coordinator with the U.S. Postal Service in Newark, N.J., before retiring. After retiring, Ed was a driver for BBZ Livery, formerly Barney Wolf Livery Service. He was a member of the F & AM Lodge in Newark and was an Air Force veteran. Ed was the son of the late Edward Sr. and Mary (Young) Layaou. He is survived by his beloved wife, Lynne (Eisel) Layaou; his daughters, Tracy Gencarelli and husband, Rocco, and Robyn Papandrikos and husband, Gus, and his grandchildren, Matthew, Alexander, and Carys. -
