SAFETY ALERT: Please ensure all Genie booms are checked and where the Genie is as below a 135 articulated boom I would recommend taking the appropriate measures until this has been fully investigated and further info released from the manufacturers. Sadly there has been a serious accident at Kimberly Access yard this morning. This has resulted in a fatality. The equipment was brand new and is a Genie 135 articulated boom. Early indications point to a boom collapsed but this is not proven. Kimberly has stated that all sites with this equipment on must immediately suspend use until further notice. Please action as a matter of urgency and pass on to any representing sites that may be using this equipment.
