SALVATION IS FREE; but keeping it is whats costly. Its like a friend giving you a brand new car which he bought with his own money, and simply gave you the title and keys and said, Its yours, enjoy it. The car is a free gift indeed but it is going to cost you money to keep and maintain the car, put gas in it, change the oil, give it tune-ups, wax the car, and so on. The car is costly to keep, but it was free when you received it. Salvation works the same way. We cant earn it. God freely gave us our salvation since Jesus paid for it through His sacrifice on the cross. But once you receive it, you must take care of it and maintain it. This is what Paul meant when he said, Work out your own salvation with fear and trembling (Philippians 2:12). He didnt say work for... but work out.GOD BLESS TO ALL...
