SAMADHI .....The sovereign secret [ part - 13 ]..... Examples of SAMADHI from Recent History.... 6. SHIRDI SAI BABA........ It is clearly mentioned in the 43rd and 44th chapters of the text “ Shri Sai Charitra” that in 1886, shirdi sai baba went into the state of Samadhi. As per doctors, he suffered from asthmatic attack due to which he appeared to be lifeless. His breathing stopped. In the word of one of the modern biographers, Narsimha swami, “ even the colour of sai baba’s body turned livid”. As expected, there was a state of chaos at the time in shirdi. The police officials as well as the villagers started building pressure for the cremation of sai’s body. They even went to the extent of digging the ground on the place- under a neem tree. But, amongst all, one disciple, Mhalsapati, remained adamant. He alone continued to take care of Sai’s body. At last, his inner experience and faith won. After three days, Sai’s finger moved ....life and consciousness re- entered his body. Had there been no basis of the inner vision of disciple Mhalsapati, perhaps this world would have lost the divine personality such as Sai 32 years earlier than his death...... ......TO BE CONTD
