SAMPA WINS THE FIRST SUPREME COURT BATTLE Supreme Court Judge Wandi has thrown out an appeal by Edgar Lungu to have the case in which Miles Sampa is challenging Judge Mungeni’s consent judgement that erroneously declared Edgar Lungu as Patriotic Front’s Presidential candidate for the January 2015 presidential elections. Edgar Lungu’s Lawyers Mosho and Chashi in an act of desperation attempted this morning to have Miles Sampa’s appeal case thrown out of the supreme court despite the fact that hearing for all partied is set for tomorrow morning. Miles Sampa represented by Sebastian Zulu, Sakwiba Sikota and Makebi Zulu were equal to the task and counter argued for almost 2 hours in the chambers to have Lungu’s appeal thrown out. Judge Wandi dismissed Lungu’s application and referred the matter to a full bench of the Supreme Court Judges that will sit from 9am tomorrow morning. The Supreme Court will rule on which of the two presidential aspirants was duly elected as PF president
