SAN ANTONIO, TX, URGENT UPDATE: Napoleana does not have any hold as of right now. The great behaviorists from SAPA - thank you Sara Smith and Lynn Corley Walker, -just did a temperament test on her and she is a nice girl, but very scared and hungry!!! After a little sweet talk they were able to get her out and interact with her. She walked fine on leash, and was mostly fearful of the other dogs there. She just wanted to get away from them. She calmed considerably out of the kennels. She is a bit grabby about her food, but I would be too if Id been on a forced diet of trash for who knows how long. She is about 60lbs and should be 80lbs. She may also have a little secret on board, and may need to go live with relatives out of state for a few months, ahem, if you get my subtle point . We cannot discuss this further as its not in her best interest to do so. If you can help a sad girl out, do send an email to [email protected] and reference A308321 She is a big girl so do not pull her if you are fearful of big dogs. She needs a gentle and confident person to help regain her own confidence and trust.
