SAPELE/DELTA STATE MUST BETTER. DEAR DR EMMANUEL UDUAGHAN. GOVERNOR OF DELTA STATE. I believe say you dey fine and you dey o.k? I dey write you dis piece of article in respect of our right to get civil service job for our State. Dis Commission (CSC) na Government Agency wey dey constituted by legislature to regulate the employment and working condition of Civil Servants, Oversee hiring and promotions and promotes the values of the public service. The origin of this Public Service Commission for many jurisdiction na base on the white paper colonial 197 issue for 1946 wey set out measures wey according to the commission e dey propose to improve the quality and efficiency of the colonial service of the British Administsration. Every country, states get e Civil Service Commission wey dey regulate dis employment issue. For United Kingdom wey dem dey formally dey call United Kingdom Civil Service Commission, currently dem dey call am Office of Personal Management. For Singapore dem dey call am Singapore Public Service Commission and for Philippine dem dey call am Philippine Civil Service Commission to mention but a few. For dis same vein, for Nigeria,we dey call am Federal Civil Service Commission of Nigeria (FCSC) with State Civil Service Commission for the 36 States of the Federation including Federal Capital Territory Abuja. This body na executive body wey get the authority to make appointments, transfers and to exercise disciplinary control over all Federal (State) Civil Servants. Delta State Civil Service Commission na one of the State Civil Commission for the Country. According to the State Commission without exaggeration unu say, Delta State Civil Service Commission na one of the vibrant and Transparent Civil Service Commission for the country base on the array of personalities wey the state Governor, Dr. Emmanuel Eweta Uduaghan appoint to man the affair of the Commission. I frown to dis assumption and i challenge the State Government to show the report card of this e appointed personalities since dem assume office to show weda dem deserve dis big triumpeted praise. Becos from all indications the masses norva enjoy any sustainable mass employment wit proper clearity without fraud or favouritism. The performance wey we dey witness today for Delta State Civil Service Commission may not be unconnected with the pedigree and affirmation of capability of the present members of the Commission. The Commission with Chief Dr. Tetsola Emmanuel (JP) as Chairman, Mrs. Tialobi Roseline 1st Commissioner, Tuedon Richard 2nd Commissioner, Dr. Andrew Akanigha 3rd Commissioner, Pastor Ifeanyi Agbeyeke, 4th Commissioner and the indefatigable Dr. Jerry Agbaike as Permanent Secretary according to the State Government dis persons don bring dynamism and innovation to the discharge of their duties of representation of the Civil Service Commissioners at Senior Staff Committee meeting of Ministries, Review and approval of recommendations on disciplinary cases of senior officers, Ratification of promotion of offices to senior position, including conducting promotion interviews and exams and recruitment of senior officers among others. I laugh well well. The Commission dey advance further from the traditional one way approach wey Civil Servants come to meet them at the Commission after the brief of the officers from various Ministry / Department / Agency wey dem dey send ahead for promotion or any other issue to visit the officers in their duties post. This no doubt don help the Commission to assess among other things the working condition of Civil Servants. Recently the Chairman, Dr. Emmanuel Tetsola under the state directive publish vacancies with employment method and dem demand N1,000 from applicants wey dey against the obligations of the commission, and when we visit the issue and reason am with some agents of the state Government the Governor himself cum order say make the Commission refund the N1,000 back to all the applicants. As at dis post i dey put am to our State Governor say the Commission wey e dey call the best successfully collect the N1,000 and up till now dem norva refund the money to the people back and if e be like that nai be say dis commission go get name of Fraud, becos if you the Governor order dem to refund the money and the people nor get deir money back nai be say na stealing things be that. I hereby move a motion to falsefully order Dr Tetsola and e crew members to refund dis money. Also we don dey get report from different source say dis same commission don almost fill all the vacant space with people wey dem get connections from top. So wetin cum be the purpose of the publication on internet,Television media,Radio and Nigeria Dailies? I stand on the part of the masses to shout with one voice say unu dey oppress us the masses and nor be privilege for us to get State job,na our right and we must fight to achieve our right for our land Governor you nor too get enough time for office again,so make u apply wisdom to restore the dignity of good Governance to see to the needs of the masses, instead of neglect. When i look dis Commission with Ghost eyes i cum see say some persons within the commission even sell employment slots to some applicants which is very bad and sinful. Today i dey call on all applicants to go visit the commission or Contacts dem for dis Address The Civil Service Commission, St. Brigids Girls Grammar School Road, Asaba, Delta State.Postal Address Civil Service Commission P.M.B 5007 Asaba, Delta State. or make unu begin call dis numbers 0701 161 9434, 0802 350 3315 to retrieve unu money and to know the status of unu right. I remain the Otota1 of Sapele. The Urhukpe1 of Okpe Kingdom. The Asamaigor1 of Itsekiri Kingdom. The Eagle Eyes of Delta State. God Bless Sapele. My people abi e nor clear like dis? SAPELE/DELTA STATE MUST BETTER.
