SASHA UPDATE! Here are some pictures of our boy in his forever loving home! These were taken the very first days he was there. You can see that he is happy and didnt take long to make himself at home! He is adjusting well to his indoor life, he does, however, still have episodes when he meows loudly during the night. I explained to my Mum that this was normal; when I took in my stray Stibule, she howled non stop every minute she was awake for 3 weeks! She would throw herself in the windows... From what I am getting, Sasha is nowhere near behaving like that. He also has some episodes of running from the patio sliding door to the bedroom window, in a kind of sensory overload. My Mum lives on the 2nd floor of a retirement building and lots of people there have bird feeders and feed the squirrells as well, so there is always a lot of activity in the day. He is eating well his special dental food; this is how my Mum describes his eating habits... He has a feeding station in the kitchen with his food and water, as well as a bowl of water in the bathroom. He eats a few bites of food, and then goes in the bathroom to drink his water! He is so funny! He has a water bowl right next to his food, but prefers to drink from his bowl in the bathroom! He sleeps with her on the bed at night and likes to sit beside her and on her lap when she watches tv on the couch. He never had a problem using the litter box either, perfect gentleman!
