SAT 29/03/2014 I AM FRUITFUL Gen 49:22-24 Have you been assaulted by the devil? Were there moments in your life when people keep throwing accusing fingers at you? Is your life surrounded by sickness and those who want to empty your visions as well as your virtue? Am glad to tell you that this is so because you have something precious in you that the enemy has seen. No one with deposits of greatness will walk through life without attacks sponsored by the devil. No one will give a second look at an unfruitful mango tree because it has nothing to offer. As a matter of fact, unfruitful life may not be cured because it had failed in its duty to be productive. In Mark 11:14, Jesus commanded a fig tree never to produce again because it was unproductive especially when the master needed to partake of the fruit, and in less than twenty-four hours, it dried off. On the other hand, when a mango tree is fruitful, every passer-by will want to launch an attack on it, even beast of the forest will not let it alone. So don’t expect to live a free life without disturbances from different areas as long as you are fruitful. These attacks could come from your best friend, your family as well as your acquaintances. Joseph had several dreams of how great he will be via the help of God. There were several dreams in him which devil was aware of. Gen 49:22 says “Joseph is a fruitful bough, even a fruitful bough by a well, whose branches run over the wall”. It is a well-known saying that when you make your mark in life, you naturally attract erasers. Bees will never come around a flower until the time of its pollination. Now what happened to the fruitfulness of Joseph, in verse 23? “The archers have sorely grieved him and shot at him and hated him” You will be hated for being fruitful by some people around you, but be glad because heaven is celebrating your fruitfulness. You must stand in strength and never be worn out when they throw stones at you; it is just an evidence that you are fruitful. Joseph held on and became what God wanted him to be. In as much as he could scale through all the hurdles that Satan sponsored his way. I see you triumphing over all that Satan will ever throw at you in Jesus Name. PRAYER POINT: -Father, I thank You for the Spirit of fruitfulness in me. I know that the challenges I am going through are because of my fruitfulness, I receive the grace to endure it to the end in Jesus name. BIBLE READING PLAN: Exd38:1-31; Job17:1-16; Ezk16:1-63
