SATUK 2014/2015 ELECTION RULES AND REGULATIONS 1. Campaigns officially begin after a candidate has been duly nominated on October 2 to October 8 2014 2. A duly nominated candidate shall ensure that campaign posters and all campaign materials are only put on Notice Board and designated areas. [Disqualification for those who will write on walls] 3. No candidate or their agents may use glue in displaying of campaign posters and other materials. Only masking tapes may be used. 4. No campaigns outside the University Precincts or around Administration block. 5. No bribery of voters and No hooliganism threats. 6. No campaign on Election Day - 9th October 2014. 7. Candidates must not use abusive language at opponents and University staff during the campaigns. 8. Use of violence or any activities that may lead to destruction of University property by a candidate or his agents and supporters is strictly prohibited. 9. Any candidate or agent caught with election material such as ballot papers or any other privileged materials shall face disqualification and disciplinary action thereafter. 10. Candidates must abide by all University rules and regulations and laws of Kenya. 11. Any candidates who breaches these rules and regulation will be disqualified and face disciplinary action. 12.
