SATURDAY, 2ND AUGUST 2014. EVENING DEVOTION.REST- ORATION! TONIGHTS SCRIPTURE.Run now, I pray thee, to meet her, and say unto her, Is it well with thee? is it well with thy husband? is it well with the child? And she answered, It is well. (2 Kings 4:26 KJV) Praise God it is your month of restoration! You will have rest on every side. You must speak the Word of God like an ORATOR. Oration means publicly declaring a thing repeatedly without stopping until an impression is created. Restoration comes by continuously speaking the Word in season and out of season. Your primary assignment as a believer is to keep confessing your restoration this month. The account of the woman in the opening scripture is a powerful example of restoration. Her only son had just died. (2 Kings 4:18-20 KJV) This child was a miracle child that came by prophecy but suddenly developed a sickness that killed him. What a tragedy to have your only child in your arms! She had a lot of options, either to send for the father and accuse him of being careless with taking care of the child when he was left in his care,or get angry and accuse the prophet that prophesied the baby into life as being fake,or cry for help and all the neighbours would gather around her.Instead of all these alternatives she choose the restoration path by saying it is well. She started chanting that positive confession like an orator and placed the child on a prophetic bed.(2 Kings 4:21-23 KJV). After laying the child on the bed of the man of God, she told her husband it is well! And even on her way when the man of God went to find out what the matter was she spoke the same word of restoration that it is well. No wonder her son came back to life, And he called Gehazi, and said, Call this Shunammite. So he called her. And when she was come in unto him, he said, Take up thy son. Then she went in, and fell at his feet, and bowed herself to the ground, and took up her son, and went out. (2 Kings 4:36, 37 KJV). Hallelujah, her son came back to life! Tonights Response If you can keep saying what you want and not what your situation looks like, every dead thing around you will come back to life this month.
