SATURDAY 5TH APRIL THE FORCE OF TESTIMONY ”And they overcame him by the blood of the lamb, and by the word of their testimony.” Revelation 12: 11. The greatest and most successful people on the earth are grateful people. Thus, your ability to express gratitude is your key to greatness. One of the ways to show gratitude to God is to testify of His goodness and faithfulness in your life openly. Testimonies are a product of God’s intervention in the affairs of men. It is a telling of God’s faithfulness in specific areas of your life. One thing you should know is that testimony is not a private thing, rather it is a public thing because it’s one of the vital tools used for evangelism. Testimony is a mighty force on the day of emergency. From where we took our text, the Bible says, we overcame by the word of our testimony. In other words you can’t be an overcomer on the day of battle if you are not a testifier. For instance, the battle between David and Goliath was in favour of David because he understood the secrets of overcoming through testimonies. David took an inventory of how God had delivered him in the wilderness and was confident that He, who had done it before was also willing and able to do it again. (1 Samuel 17: 37). Beloved, learn today to always say, “Thank you Lord” for the things God has done in your life. Testimony has a multiplying effect and it also has the ability to sustain and preserve God’s blessings in your life. So don’t hoard that testimony, share it today and see it preserved for life! WORD OF PRAYER:- My father, I thank you for all you have been doing in my life and I pray for the grace to testify before men of your good works in my life in Jesus’ name, Amen.
