SATURDAY,AUGUST 30, 2014 THE MESSAGE OF WISDOM 1 Corinthians 2:1-16 You attitude in Jesus Christ depicts the basis of your knowledge in Him. Honestly,human experience cannot alter the truthfulness of Gods Word. Effective preaching results from studious preparation and reliance on the work of the spirit. The message you share with others must not comprise persuasive illustrations of human wisdom instead it must be in the demonstration of the Spirit and must be timely and powerful enough to overthrow sin, and conversion of souls to the glory of God. Key verse 1Corinthians 2:5 - That your faith should not stand in the wisdom of men, but in the power of God. Like Application When we teach others base on our experience and human philosophy,they shall employ human power in their Christian life expecting to yield result in everything they do, but truthfully human power cannot produce any effectual change. Critical verse 1 Corinthians 2:6 -Howbeit we speak wisdom among them that are perfect: yet not the wisdom of this world, nor of the princes of this world,that coke to nought. Prayer Dear Lord! As I go out please help me to share your Word with others in the revelation of your Spirit and power in Jesus name. Amen.
