SAVE THE DATE: Fort Leavenworth is hosting a Town Hall on December 11, 2014 from 3:30-5:30pm at the Riverfront Community Center. This listening session is an opportunity for concerned individuals to speak directly with a team from the Department of the Army about potential personnel reductions at the Fort. A 15-point study included a potential scenario wherein 2500 personnel could be cut. This Town Hall is open to the public, and is an opportunity to make certain your voice is heard. I encourage folks to come out and speak to the strong role Fort Leavenworth has in our nation’s defense and the impact reductions would have on the surrounding community.
